"Back To The Pyramid" is the last album from Rocky Marsiano´s "Pyramid Trilogy". Taking his long lasting relationship with hip-hop/jazz inspired organic music, this old-school Portuguese (now living in Amsterdam) producer takes his beat journey a few steps further into new styles and rhythmic realms.
Featuring some great vocal interpretations by the likes of Kenyan super band Sauti Sol, the Genoa based hip-hop crew Zero Plastica or the already established collaborator D_Fine, "Back To The Pyramid" is almost a biographical statement in a musical form. All musical experiences lived by the producer since his last album are clearly present. Strong bass lines, edgy drum sounds, live jazzy instrumentation and a lot of groove is what this release is all about.
